Zapatos de México
Happy Cinco de Mayo! Did you know today is a holiday to celebrate the Mexican Army defeating the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862? And you thought it was just an excuse to drink margaritas.
Among the list of great things Mexico gives the world -- chilaquiles, enchiladas, coffee, Pixar's Coco -- my favorite is shoes.
Most people don't know Mexico's incredible shoemaking heritage. Many bootmakers choose to produce their wares down South because they can get fantastic quality at a low price. If they're smart, they pass on the savings to you.
Some companies hide their Mexican manufacturing process. Not Unmarked. They're loud and proud. They even host their website at unmarked.mx -- the .com of Mexico.

Do you want to add some slip-on sneakers to your arsenal this season but Vans and Seavees are too mainstream for you? Unmarked Bianco Mocs are the shoe for you.
First of all, they're entirely handcrafted. How many other sneakers can say that? The outside is an uber fine suede. The inside is a welcoming leather.
And the footbed? EVA foam. Widely used in great shoes from brands like Teva and you know... body armor.
In honor of Cinco de Mayo, support (fairly paid) Mexican workers and upgrade your sneakers.
P.S. The next ten orders get a special present. ¡Que chevere!
