Issue #187
The results of the poll on newsletter styling are at the bottom. More than 70% liked the new styling or didn't notice a difference. Half of the remaining 30% "rage" unsubscribed. Lots of people commented that it's much easier to read. As always, reply and let me know your thoughts.Â

How To Train For Ski Season
Snow is starting to fly everywhere...well, maybe not everywhere, but nevertheless, the ski/ride season is coming fast. How are your quads doing? Is your Cardio good? The most important part of training is the frequency. Carve those 20-30 minutes out of your busy day to get a workout in. Once you have a routine that works for you, then add duration. Some good sound advice and weekly routine in this one.

Surfing Banned at Nazaré After ‘Century Swell’
In the last few issues, we've posted some outrageous surfing videos from the 100-year waves in Nazaré, basically a tsunami in my books. Well, like everything good in this Covid world, it came to an end due to 1000's of spectators and probably very few masks. (5 min read)

New York City Marathon Lives On
Originally cancelled in June, the marathon lived on virtually as with everything else in this world. Anyone who participated in the virtual event, which had a $50 entry fee for New York Road Runners members and $60 for everyone else, needed to run 26.2 miles at some point between October 17 and November 1 to earn a finisher’s medal. Some chose to take the more traditional route and ran it on race day in very small and socially distanced groups. (2 min read)
